Starting Off

Hello,
I'm starting this blog as a way to learn how to write. My goal is to write/post in this blog every day for a year or at the very least 3 days a week. It is also my goal to have fun writing in this blog. I do not intend to take this to seriously. So be warned that I have no intention of making this good, and that I honestly kind of hate writing. A little weird I know, but I want get the stories in my head out into the physical world. Hopefully I can learn to like writing along the way. Sorry if I'm babbling, I'm also trying to make myself type more and get faster at it.

Anyway this blog will be a mixture of my attempts at fiction and non-fiction musing about my rather boring life. Anyway enough with my rambling, on to my attempt to write a story about a wizard and dog.

Story outline

I. Girl pisses off witch and gets transformed into a talking dog
        a. this is problem as most of her family is a afraid of/allergic to dogs
        b. has to find a new place to live
II. Meets an unusual Wizard
         a. has a thing for cross stitching, and hand crafts in general
         b. calls girl Ms.Dog and insists that she is their familiar
III. Some how they come together and confront the witch

I need to figure out how the girl pissed of the witch, research cross-stitch, and actually write this dumb story.

Chapter 2

Lysa stood still afraid to move. The woman had definitely done something, she had a stick off one of her trees and pointed it violently at the younger woman. Spittle flew out of the witches mouth as she screamed something along the lines of,  "I'll teach for killing my flowers!" After that there was a moment of silence and then Lysa felt a wrenching her stomach as the world appeared warp and change and the world around seem to grow taller and somehow less colorful. She continued to stand stunned as she watched the witch huff and mutter, "Serves you right" and go back inside. After awakening from her daze the first thing Lysa noticed was that the weed killer had fallen on the sidewalk. As she tried to reach for it, she felt her heart quicken it's pace as a paw reached toward the nozzle.
